Blue Devils stop Waynesboro again

Both the Greencastle-Antirm High School boys' and girls' varsity basketball teams defeated Waynesboro for a second time already on the young season as the Mid-Penn Colonial Division season kicked off Tuesday.

The Blue Devil squads had downed the rivals from the east Friday in the county tip-off tournament and Tuesday made it count in the conference with another set of victories.

The G-A boys hosted the Indians and claimed a 64-53 win behind 28 points from Joel Zola and 23 more from Zach Faulkner.

G-A's girls team trumped the Maidens 54-25 on the Waynesboro floor. Jane Herman led the scoring with 14 points and Choloe Hoover put in 11.
