Blue Devil hoopsters to go for titles tonight

Both the Greencastle-Antrim High School boys' and girls' varsity basketball teams will compete for the titles in the Franklin County Tip-Off Tournament tonight in Waynesboro.

Each team won its preliminary game Friday night to advance to the championship games. Both will face Chambersburg.

Waynesboro is hosting this year's season-opening tournament.

Friday the G-A boys defeated Waynesboro 55-49 to earn the shot at defending its title. Tonight's title game will again be against Chambersburg, a 67-29 winner over James Buchanan. The tipoff is set for around 8"30 p.m.

The Blue Devil girls' team eased by Waynesboro 51-17 to advance to the championship against Chambersburg. The Lady Trojans downed James Buchanan 58-43. That title game is set for 7 p.m.
