G-A’s Austin Scott battles for a loose ball with a Northeastern player in Tuesday’s district game.

The Greencastle-Antrim High School boys' basketball team's time in the District 3-AAA was short lived Tuesday evening. Northeastern ignored any home court advantage the Blue Devils had by outlasting them 54-50 to advance to the district quarterfinals. The loss ends G-A's season with a 16-6 record.

The eighth-seeded Devils made up for a slow start by the middle of the first quarter and it was nip and tuck until the final buzzer despite few leads for the home team. The ninth-seeded Bobcats held on for the four-point spread and advance.

G-A demonstrated spread out scoring. Brandon Puffenbarger was the lone Devil to hit double figures with 11 points. Danny Stepler and Holden Baker each put in nine points. Joel Zola and Zach Faulkner added seven a piece.
