G-A track athletes collect conference laurels; head to districts

Following up on fine regular seasons, the boys and girls of the Greencastle-Antrim track and field teams made some noise at the Mid-Penn Conference Meet and will head to the Friday and Saturday District 3-AAA event at Shippensburg University. The following are the Mid-Penn finishes: Caleb Bartlett, second in discus; Nakita Gearhart, third in high jump and seventh in discus; David Spinder, fourth in shot put; Greg Boyer, fifth in 110 hurdles; Shelby Stouffer, sixth in 1600; Taylor Kirkpatrick, sixth in high jump; Ashton Rockwell, seventh in 100 hurdles; Ben Leitzel, seventh in discus; and Tache Smothers, eighth in 400. Headed to districts are Bartlett, Gearhart, Spinder, Boyer (also in 300 hurdles), Stouffer, Kirkpatrick, Rockwell and Ryan Hickey in the discus.
