G-A softball gets boost into postseason

The Greencastle-Antrim High School varsity softball team gained some momentum heading into the District 3-AAA Championships by blanking Class AAAA Chambersburg 9-0. Amanda Wink fanned eight in the four-hit complete-game shutout. Mackenzie Gayman led the offense with a 3-for-3 effort. A 15-5 record gained the Devils the fifth seed in the playoffs and a first round game May 22 against 12th-seeded Kennard Dale.
