The Greencastle United Soccer Club U10 boys’ travel team finished its spring season in the Central Pennsylvania Youth Soccer League with a perfect record of 8 wins and 0 losses. What started as a rain-soaked season finished with a flurry, with the boys playing four games in eight days. The team started slowly, but really came on strong at the end of the season. The first three games were all one goal victories, but during the last five games the team distanced itself from the competition, outscoring the opponents 44-9 for the entire season. All but two of the boys are returning in the fall to play in the U11 age bracket. From left, are: front — Robert Hockman, Evan Sanders, Taylor Noblit, Joshua Stout; back — Byron Trueax, Jason Freeman, Gershon Bangura, Kyle Andruczk, Nicholas Drier. Absent from photo are Jacob Broadwater, Jacob Hurley, Christian Libutti and Blaine Ocker.
