Blaze 16UA ends accomplished season

Mason Dixon Blaze 16UA finished a stellar season with a 35-6 record. Along the way the team competed in several college showcases, won two Pony tournaments, captured the USSSA Central PA State Championship and finished fourth in the USSSA 16UA World Series in Salisbury, Md. The team, which includes players from seven high schools in Pennsylvania and Maryland, are from left: first row — Mariah Yingling, Katie Shaak; second row — Sarah Elwood, Shae Foreman, Megan Dougherty, Blaire Lauthers, Jenna Knable, Tristan Hartle; third row — coach Rob Thorn, coach Rick Lauthers, Jenna Rhodes, Haley Thorn, Shayla Murray and manager Troy Yingling.
