The dream of a state football berth for the Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devils came to an end Friday night when Conrad Weiser invaded Kaley Field and left with a 34-20 victory.

The Devils came into the game with the top seed in the District 3-AAA playoffs, but the eighth-seeded Scouts were more than ready for the challenge. Weiser (9-3) used a potent running game and capitalized on some turnovers to take control of a game that stayed tight for much of the night.

G-A ends its 2010 campaign with an 11-1 mark, following a 10-0 regular season and last week’s playoff victory.
