The Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devil volleyball team was stopped in its quest for a district title Saturday by eventual champion Brandywine Heights.

The Devils dropped their semifinal match with Brandywine 3-0 with scores of 25-16, 25-16 and 27-25 at Central York High School. G-A led much of the third game, but Brandywine rallied to close the match in three sets.

Brandywine went on to win the district title by besting Susquehannock 3-1 with scores of 25-11, 25-23, 23-25 and 25-20.

The top two teams in the district advance to state competition. G-A had gone into the district tourney as the sixth ranked team in the state.
