First 3-on-3 held for Old Home Week

Ten boys teams and five girls teams signed up for the signature 2010 Old Home Week 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, held Aug. 6 on the Jerome King courts. The activity for Greencastle's younger people came as a result of a suggestion after the last OHW. Garon Gembe coordinated the event.

The teams were: 7/8 grade boys, Team Hanson with Kurt Hanson, Matt Kline and Miles Gayman, Team Klein with Brody Klein, Brae Peck, Joey Burns and Sam Calvin, 3 Musketeers with Hunter Heuer, Trent Wilson and Tony Dunagan, JAG with Alex Witmer, Josh Ehko and Garrett Poole, Lil Devils with Jace Tagert, Jamin Broadus and Bryson Robinson, and Majic with Wayne Kline, Chris Puffenbarger and J.D. Howell. 9/10 grade boys, High Flyers with Gabe Fridgen, Zach Faulkner, Eli Englehart and Brandon Puffenbarger. 11/12 grade boys, Blue Devils with Taylor Blattenberger, Cody Young, Nick Potter and Grant Murray, Do It All with Dylan Leazier, Trenton Springs and Austin Scott, and Devils with Denton Cordell, AJ Irias and Denver Cordell.

7/8 grade girls, JMJ Ballers with Jenay Faulkner, Mercedes Rideout and Jenn Grove, Triple Threat with Shelby Stouffer, Hannah Crist, Jane Herman and Katie Gelsinger, Shooting Stars with Hannah Zimmerman, Brooke Zeger, Lauren Hirneisen and Meghan Hirneisen. 9/10 grade girls, Connection with Ashlynn Schaeffer, Abbey Pool, Chloe Hoover and Moriah Woods. 11/12 grade girls, Advanced Hoops with Tache Smothers, Maria Simmons, Lauren Grove and Rachael Hendershott.

Winners in the six categories were Team Hanson, High Flyers, Devils, JMJ Ballers, Connection and Advanced Hoops.
