Don’t miss another minute!

That is our advice for anyone who hasn’t been to an athletic event in the Greencastle-Antrim School District this fall. Of course, all student activities, year in and year out, deserve and should be supported no matter what. But it’s also true that when the scoreboard ends up mostly on the side of the Blue Devils, it creates a different kind of atmosphere.

That atmosphere has been on a high this fall as nearly every Blue Devil athletic team not only has a winning record, but few have been on the short end of many sticks. It’s been phenomenal.

So don’t miss out. Get your pompons out and shake them for the Blue Devils this week.

Congratulations to Marty Boscolo for being the recipient of the 2010 James P. Oliver Citizenship Award. It is well deserved. In true form, Marty was extremely humble in accepting the award. He is much more at home behind the Mikie’s waffle cone machine than in the limelight. We are so glad that the light did shine on Marty and his extensive community service. It was a nice cherry on top.
