Sunday fire causes heavy damage to mobile home

Fire heavily damaged a mobile home on Coseytown Road in Antrim Township early Sunday evening.

Rescue Hose Co. firefighters were dispatched at 5:17 p.m. and encountered heavy fire when they arrived at 4108 Coseytown Road, according to a report from Fire Chief Kevin Barnes.

No one was home at the time of the fire.

Fifty personnel responded to the call, with the Rescue Hose Co. assisted by Maugansville, Long Meadow, Marion, Waynesboro, MMP&W and Hagerstown City fire departments and the Washington County, Md., air unit.

A Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
