Valerie Meyers, executive assistant since 2015, has been selected as the interim director of the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce.

The board of directors of the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce has named Valerie Meyers interim director.

She fills the position vacated by Georgina Cranston, who transitioned to Shippensburg University's Small Business Development Center June 1.

Having served as executive assistant since 2015, Meyers has supported many facets of the chamber including member service, community events, public relations and office management.

"I look forward to serving our members in this role, especially as I have the advantage of established member connections, as well as experience with our many events," Meyers said in a news release. "My aim is to continue to fulfill the chamber's mission: 'to help members thrive by promoting economic well-being and community vitality.'

"There is so much involved in this role, but I know I have the backup of a great board and committed membership base," Meyers said.
