The Greencastle Borough Office reopened to the public Monday after being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Antrim Township building remains closed.

Borough residents are still asked to conduct their business by mail, email or the drop-box if possible, but they can also now enter the office.

"We thank the community for their continued patience as we incorporate CDC guidelines for social distancing and sanitizing procedures," Lorraine Hohl, borough manager, said in her report at Monday's council meeting. "If visiting the office, please be mindful of the red tape on the ground as we ask you to remain 6 feet apart. We also recommend wearing masks for the protection of others."

Brad Graham, township administrator, said the status of the office will be evaluated at each supervisors meeting. The next meeting is Tuesday, June 9.

"Staff continues to work full-time, some in the office, some remotely," according to Graham, noting the road crew and utilities department have worked full-time throughout the pandemic.

When the office reopens, people will still be encouraged to conduct business remotely, if possible, and practice social distancing.
