Outdoor classroom is Eagle Scout project

Davey Witmer recently completed his Eagle Scout project, an outdoor classroom at Tayamentasachta, the Greencastle-Antrim School District's environmental center.

The project was funded by a grant from Johnson Controls. Rock bed was donated by The Mulch Bin on Milnor Road.

The boys who assisted were Quentin and Brady Campbell, Logan and Riley Bohrer, Evan Gibble, Brent Martin, Nate Mummert and Troop 99 Eagle Scouts Matthew Mummert and Eric Witmer, who had received assistance from Davey on both of their projects.

Also helping were Davey's parents Mark and Linda Witmer, Scoutmaster Mike Mummert and Penny Beatty.
