Annual afternoon tea planned at Allison-Antrim Museum

Allison-Antrim Museum, 365 S. Ridge Ave., Greencastle, will host the 10th annual Afternoon Tea in the Barn on Sunday, May 20, between 1 and 4 p.m.  

Tea will be served in the center two bays of the reconstructed 1860s barn.  Tables will be set with vintage napkins and china and the servers will be dressed in Civil War attire.

Sweet and savory treats will be served, with gluten-free options, along with AAMI’s signature lavender green tea and several other choices, including decaf and herbal tea.

The cost per person is $5. Reservations are required by Thursday, May 17, for seatings beginning on the hour at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The current exhibit is “Hats and Hankies,” with pieces from the museum’s collections.
