Survivors and their supporters attended 'Tea Time for Teal' organized April 15 at John Allison House in Greencastle by three ovarian cancer survivors, Jean Widder and Jen Buterbaugh of Greencastle and Wendy Saylor of Hagerstown. Proceeds go to their team Teal is a Big Deal, which will participate in the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition 5K Run/Walk to Break the Silence of Ovarian Cancer being held in Frederick on June 16. In the photo at left, five-year ovarian cancer survivor Jennifer Grove of Boiling Springs enjoyed the afternoon with her friend, Elissa Parsons of Greencastle, who has been treated for melanoma. At right are Linda Stutzman of Hagerstown, Marge Rohrer of Boonsboro and Chris Sweeney with her daughter-in-law Ashley Sweeney, both of Hagerstown. Chris Sweeney is a 24-year ovarian cancer survivor.
