The fifth annual Craft Beer and Wine Festival, hosted by the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce, will be held from noon to 4 p.m Saturday, April 14, on the Antrim Way Honda parking lot on U.S. 11.

The festival attracts hundreds, even thousands of people who come out to greet each other after a long winter, listen to music, enjoy some food and sample craft beers and local wines.

The festival is open to adults 21 and older, and will feature over 40 different craft brews from national distributors as well as local favorites from Roy Pitz Brewery in Chambersburg and Cushwa Brewery in Williamsport, Maryland. Six different wineries will also be on site, offering samples and selling local wines including Chambersburg's Jan Zell Wines.

Advance tickets are $30 per person and are available online at, through the chamber office and at the John Allison Public House. Tickets on the day of the event will increase to $35.

The main sponsor is M&T Bank. The band JESTER is sponsored by F&M Trust. Each participant will receive a 5-ounce pilsner style mug sponsored by Quad State Air and a map of the festival sponsored by Herald Mail Media. Coupons for the Greencastle Golf Club and Fireside Pub will be distributed, and festival T-shirts will be sold for $20.

The John Allison Public House will provide a menu of barbecue, french fries, nachos, and other festival foods as well as fruit and cheese plate to pair with the wines.

Chamber Executive Director Georgina Cranston says, “The end result we hope is that this event builds a long-term relationship with people who come to town for events we offer, who bring positive energy and find reasons to come back again and again. By engaging the community in new and different ways, and appealing to a variety of tastes and hobbies, the chamber fulfills its mission of promoting member prosperity through economic well-being and community vitality."
