The First Community Bank of Mercersburg is collecting monetary donations for victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria through Friday, Oct. 20, at all six of its community offices.

The money will be split between the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, the Florida Disaster Fund and United for Puerto Rico Fund. In addition to community donations, FCB will provide a matching contribution up to $1,000.

Financial donations to vetted organizations are among the most effective ways to contribute in response to a natural disaster, according to a news release from the bank.
Donations may be made at the main office, 12 S. Main St., and North End office, 454 Loudon Road, Mercersburg; Fort Loudon office, 92 Path Valley Road; Greencastle office, 821 S. Washington St.; Chambersburg office, 1680 Orchard Drive; and Scotland office, 3141 Black Gap Road.
