Seasonal Marketplace planned Sept. 9

The Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Fall Seasonal Marketplace on Saturday, Sept. 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the square in Greencastle.

The focus is the craftsmanship, skill and talent of the vendors and artists. All items are handcrafted, handmade, earth-friendly and unique. There will be a variety of crafts, food, seasonal produce and local chefs on the square. Products for sale will include crafts, jewelry, produce, barbecue and books by local authors.

“Seasonal Marketplace was conceived with the intention of highlighting our downtown area, showcasing local talent, and creating a forum in which a farmer’s marketplace might eventually take shape. We purposely keep the event small enough to fit on the square and it is our hope that this seasonal experience will become a monthly one,” said Georgina Cranston, executive director of the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber.
