Concert for families

The Lilian S. Besore Library in Greencastle will be hosting a free end-of-the-summer concert for families on Friday, Aug. 4, at 2 p.m. The concert will be held in the library’s community room and is open to the public.

Mark DeRose will be performing. He is a singer/songwriter out of Lancaster whose goal is to present a show that combines his love for the visual arts with his love for songwriting. He believes in encouraging young listeners to embrace and enjoy life to its fullest, be creative individuals and, most importantly, confidently be themselves. His website is www.markderosemusic.com.
