Drew Michael Taylor, son of Randy and Marcie Taylor, was killed at the age of 3 on June 13, 2006 in a tragic auto accident.  In order to honor Drew's memory, Drew's parents started the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation (DMTF) to provide academic and recreational opportunities to children and youth.  In the local area, the foundation currently funds Ready, Set, Go! - a kindergarten readiness program in the Shippensburg Area School District and Drew's Hope - a grief and loss support program for children, teens and their families in Western Cumberland and Franklin counties. Marcie Taylor also facilitates a Bereaved Parents Support Group that meets in Shippensburg the first Thursday of each month. It has served over 60 grieving families since the program's inception in 2008. Currently, 17 grieving families are taking part in the Fall 2012 Drew's Hope program.
