‘Once Upon a Mattress’ hits the stage at G-AHS

“Once Upon a Mattress”, a musical adapted from Hans Christian Andersen's The Princess and the Pea, will be performed this week by the Greencastle-Antrim High School Drama Club. The musical comedy, directed by Roz Bingaman, will be presented Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Tickets at $5 are available at the door.

The story follows Queen Agravain, who tries to stop Princess Winnifred from proving herself worthy of marriage to Prince Dauntless. Ladies in waiting, knights, and confidantes of the royal family sing and dance their way to the ultimate ending of any fairy tale.
