Distracted driving campaign comes to Greencastle

The Chambersburg Cardinals Professional Football Team is partnering with Meritus Health of Hagerstown to bring awareness to the dangers of distracted driving. This Friday night’s stop will be in Greencastle.

 Meritus Health will have display tables addressing the issue set up at many high school football games throughout the county during the fall months.  Players from the Chambersburg Cardinals will be present to lend their support and help in efforts to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving.

The campaign is aimed at protecting high school drivers and the communities of Washington and Franklin counties.  

Appearances are scheduled for the following dates, locations and times: Sept. 30 – Waynesboro at Greencastle-Antrim, 7:30 p.m.; Oct. 7 – Smithsburg at South Hagerstown, 7 p.m.; Oct. 28 – Williamsport at Smithsburg, 7 p.m.; Nov. 4 – Smithsburg at Boonsboro, 7 p.m.; Nov. 5 – South Hagerstown at North Hagerstown, 1 p.m.
