Greencastle-Antrim Middle School instrumentalists will perform their spring concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 19 in the high school auditorium.

The concert is free to the public.

The concert will begin with the Sixth Grade Band and a march called Little League. Next will be an arrangement of a traditional Irish folk song called Londonderry Air, followed by an exciting piece called Dark Adventure. The band will then take the audience back to the time of the Anasazi Native Americans with the song Anasazi. The band will close out its portion of the show with a transcription of the lively William Tell Overture.

The Middle School Stage Band will also perform three pieces during the spring concert. The first piece, Jammin' with Charlie will feature solos by Sean Heraty, Jake Kline and Alex Jackson. Next, the audience will once again hear solos from Heraty and Kline on Uncle Milo's Sideshow. The last number is the popular Louie, Louie with multiple students featured as soloists.

The Middle School Band will play a march followed by the piece Pevensey Castle. Next, the band's eighth-grade drum major Ali Moats will conduct The Lion Sleeps Tonight. The very popular and challenging Pachelbel's Canon will then be performed followed by a jazz version of the African-American spiritual Kum Bah Ya. The Middle School Concert Band finishes with Gonna Fly Now, the theme from the Rocky movies.
