The Greencastle-Antrim High School Music Department will present its annual Holiday Christmas Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12 in the high school auditorium.

The program is free and open to the public.

Opening the program will be the Chamber Choir, under the direction of choral director, Ronalyn Bingaman.  The choir will perform “Lirum, Lirum”, “Ding Dong! Merrily On High” and “Hanerot Halalu”.

The Concert Band, conducted by Samuel Forney, will perform “A Christmas Collage”, “Urban Dances, “Greensleeves,” “Sedona” and “Symphonic Prelude on Adeste Fidelis.” Many band members will be featured soloists.

The program will continue with a performance by the G-Castle Jazz Voices, which is a new choral ensemble in the high school. The choir will present “Bidi Bom,” “We've Got Good News to Tell!” and “Little Saint Nick” and will highlight soloists Shyanne Smith, Ridge Bingaman and Drey Hepfer.

The Concert Choir, directed by Bingaman, will perform “Of The Father's Love Begotten” with guest organist Trevor Timmons and violinist Blair Boscolo.  “Il Est Ne/Gloria!” will be accompanied on piano by Blair Boscolo. Student accompanists Sarah Jansen and Amber Crider will support the choir on  “The Twelve Days After Christmas” and “Silent Night.”   The senior members of the Concert Choir will share their vocal talents with a special part in “Silent Night”.

Concluding the program will be a mass choir and band performance of “A Christmas Portrait” and Handel's Hallelujah Chorus. All Greencastle-Antrim alumni are invited to join the choir in the traditional singing of the Hallelujah Chorus.

The stage will be adorned with over 100 poinsettias from a recent fundraiser for the choral program.
