The kindergarten students of Rhonda Hoover and Nikki Estep planted a maple behind the primary school on Friday. Kerrie Barnes, director of environmental education, turned the shovel over to Ellie Divelbiss. Each youngster threw in some dirt for the tree they are going to watch grow as they themselves grow up in the Greencastle-Antrim school district. The classrooms participated in the ceremony following a harvest party.
