New teachers join staff in Greencastle-Antrim schools
Sixteen new teachers walked through the portals of the Greencastle-Antrim School District this year to join fellow faculty members in providing an education for 2,700 students. Teacher inservice began Aug. 25 and children return to the classroom Aug. 31.
New to the staff this year are: Lacey Fegan, Chambersburg, sixth grade. She earned an elementary education degree from Shippensburg University and has one year of experience.
Aftan Francis, Waynesboro, half-time primary art. She has an art degree from Messiah College. This is her first year teaching.
Jenna Goshorn, Chambersburg, fifth-grade long term sub. In her first year of teaching, she has an elementary education degree from Shippensburg University.
Justine Graff, Fairfield, kindergarten. She is a Shippensburg University graduate in elementary education in her first year of teaching.
Erin Grimes, Waynesboro, second grade long term sub. She has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Shippensburg University and is a first year teacher.
Jennifer Guerin, Philadelphia, third grade long term sub. She earned an elementary education degree from Susquehanna University. This is her first year teaching.
Erica Hager, Shippensburg, middle school math. She graduated from Shippensburg University and Wilkes University and has a master’s degree in math. She has four years of teaching experience.
Andrea Hartman, Chambersburg, secondary gifted support long term sub. She has a mathematics degree from Grove City College and is in her first year of teaching.
Rita Hillwig, Chambersburg, high school learning support long term sub. She earned degrees from Slippery Rock University and Shippensburg University, with a master’s in elementary education and mentally and/or physically handicapped. She has taught for 19 years.
Sheila Keller, Greencastle, middle school language arts/reading specialist long term sub. She graduated from Shippensburg University with an elementary education and mid-level language arts degree. She has eight years of experience.
Kristin Koch, Fayetteville, sixth grade. She graduated from Messiah College with an elementary education degree and has five years of experience.
Annette Measell, Chambersburg, sixth grade long term sub. She has an elementary education degree from Wilson College. This is her first year of teaching.
Jeanette Monteith, Williamsport, primary learning support. She graduated from Mount Aloysius College with an elementary education degree and has six years of experience.
Raymond Mowery IV, Shippensburg, middle school language arts. He has a master’s degree in English from Shippensburg University and six years of experience.
Michele Painter, Greencastle, high school science long term sub. She has a biology degree from Wilson College and one year of experience.
Richard Richardson, Chambersburg, middle school social studies. He has a master’s degree in social studies from Shippensburg University and seven years of experience.
