Stolen vehicle crashed on I-81

An early morning accident near exit 3 of Interstate 81 in Antrim Township ended in charges against a Hagerstown, Md. man Wednesday.

Brandon Lee Gordon, 27, is in Franklin County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond pending a preliminary hearing, following the crash of a vehicle that he allegedly stole. He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Duane Cunningham.

He was in a single vehicle rollover on southbound exit 3 at 6:32 a.m. May 21.

Pennsylvania State Police apprehended Gordon as he attempted to flee the scene.

The vehicle had been reported stolen by Hagerstown City Police.

Gordon was arrested for receiving stolen property, driving under the influence and vehicle code violations. The vehicle was returned to Maryland, according to police.
