Man dead in Antrim Township domestic dispute

A man is dead following a reported domestic dispute in Antrim Township Sunday morning.

According to Trooper Robert Hicks, the Chambersburg barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police received a call at 9:46 a.m. regarding a domestic situation that involved a shooting. Hicks said the incident happened in the 8100 block of Talhelm Road.

Hicks related that a 57-year-old man return to his home, where he lives with his ex-wife. Police said the ex-wife had her 51-year-old boyfriend there and a scuffle ensued between the ex-husband and the boyfriend. During the scuffle, police said it appeared the ex-husband shot the boyfriend and then turn the weapon on himself. Police reported the ex-husband is dead and the boyfriend was taken to York Hospital in serious condition.

Police added that the ex-wife/girlfriend was not harmed.

Authorities have not released that name of the deceased or anyone else involved. They have no other details at this time.

The state police investigation is continuing.
