Police round up southern Franklin County burglary ring

Two local men are among a group of five people who have been accused of committing a series of burglaries in southern Franklin County during the past few months.

Pennsylvania State Police report that the five were charged in connection with a series burglaries at various locations throughout the southern part of the county from Sept. 1 through Nov. 15.

Charged were: Jacob Miller, 23, of Greencastle; Zachary College, 22, of State Line; Heather Arentz, 30, of Waynesboro; Justin Rowe, 23, of Waynesboro; and Alfred Kaleo, 29, of Frederick, Md.

Police said the five allegedly removed items from numerous barns and outbuildings. In addition they are accused of taking batteries from vehicles, according to police.
