The driver of a 1982 Chevrolet Camaro that ended up in a cornfield at 3:20 p.m. Aug. 20 was not identified by Pennsylvania State Police. The driver told police he was northbound on U.S. 11. At the Kauffman Road intersection a white or gray sedan was in the left turn lane, but suddenly turned right in front of him. He swerved to avoid a collision, and lost control. He did not require medical attention but the car had to be towed. Damage to the corn was about $50.
