Man resists arrest in Antrim Township
Ryan Taylor Kavanaugh, 30, no fixed address, was arrest April 5 in Antrim Township on an active bench warrant from Chester County. When Pennsylvania State Police arrived, he refused to put his hands behind his back, and in a fight, fell on one officer. He grabbed for the duty belt, which held a weapon. Kavanaugh was tased. A yellow pill, discovered to be Risperidone, was found on his body.
He was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, disarming law enforcement officer, and possession of a controlled substance.
