Several incidents in Greencastle investigated by police

Greencaslte police recently investigated the following:

Walter J. Barrientos-Redondo, 38, Chambersburg, was charged with retail theft at 2:35 p.m. March 10. A witness reported that items were stolen from  Goodwill, 524 N. Antrim Way. After investigating, police conducted a traffic stop on the suspect and found two pieces of clothing that were identified as stolen.

Dollar General, 514 N. Antrim Way, reported that someone had put a large amount of garbage in its dumpster between Feb. 28 and March 5. Police contacted Brian Funk, 40, who admitted he put it there. He was charged with theft of services.

A hit and run occurred in the CVS parking lot, 305 W. Baltimore St., at 12:20 p.m. March 3. A blue Ford F-250 pickup with Maryland registration was the offending vehicle.
