Greencastle police continue educational checkpoints near the Greencastle-Antrim School District campus to remind drivers of the new seatbelt laws affecting teenagers. Several hundred contacts have been made since the enforcement began Feb. 14.  Since Feb. 22, 12 people have been cited for not using seatbelts, including parents not belting in young children. The checkpoints are conducted in conjunction with  “Buckle Up PA” in an effort to improve Pennsylvania’s compliance with seatbelt laws, and to improve community safety.
