Jeremy Keith Higgins, 27, Chambersburg, was arrested for theft by Greencastle Police after pawning two rings.  He had been staying at 318 Nova Drive the night of Jan. 19, and later the female resident noticed the rings were missing. One was a 1990 Shippensburg High School class ring, and the other a man’s wedding band, together valued at $700.

The woman had dropped Higgins off at Buy & Sell, a pawn shop in Chambersburg. Her grandmother later went there and learned that the store had purchased a class ring, but the employee would not identify who brought it in. A detective found the rings and discovered the identity of Higgins. He had been paid $85 for the rings, which were returned to the owner.
