2007 G-AHS grad Tiffany Webb Porter dies in accident

A 2007 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School died Feb. 1 in a car crash in Tompkinsville, Ky. Tiffany Webb Porter, 24, was pronounced dead at Monroe County Medical Center.

She and her husband, Joshua Porter, 22, were driving a 1998 Ford on a state road at 9:42 a.m. when the vehicle hydroplaned and slid into the path of a 1995 Chevy pickup, according to published reports. Neither was wearing a seatbelt. Joshua Porter was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver of the pickup was treated for nonlife-threatening injuries.

Tiffany Porter was the daughter of Pattie Chaney, Greencastle, and Dale Webb Sr., Hagerstown, Md. She had lived in Hagerstown and Rouzerville before moving to Greencastle.

She is survived by her husband, father, mother and Dale R. Martin, brother Dale Webb Jr. of Fayetteville, and half siblings Samantha Webb and Andrew Webb of Hagerstown.
