Pennsylvania State Police have released details of a Jan. 6 accident in which a Greencastle teenager was treated for minor injuries following a one-vehicle crash at 7:27 a.m.

Denton A. Cordell, 18, was traveling south on Browns Mill Road in a 1995 Chevrolet Beretta. He left the roadway on a curve and struck an embankment, which caused the car to overturn. It slid 100 feet on the roof onto the front porch of a house.

Cordell was trapped for 15 minutes and was extricated by Greencastle Rescue Hose Company No. 1. He was taken to Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Md.
