An investigation into the contents of a trash bag netted drug charges against Greencastle woman

Tshenia Denise Mills, 23, 138 S. Carlisle St., Apt. 3, was arrested on drug charges after an investigation by Pennsylvania State Police. In the middle of the night an officer investigated trash left on the public sidewalk out front, spurred by information the department had received. The officer found a significant amount of wet marijuana leaves and stems, a ziplock bag with suspected marijuana residue, and discarded mail for the same address.

A search warrant was obtained on Nov. 12 and executed at 6:05 a.m. Chad Richard Reasner, 25, an infant and Mills were in the apartment when law enforcement found a metal marijuana grinder with suspected marijuana residue, three glass smoking devices with residue, four baggies with suspected marijuana, a set of 4-ounce measuring scales, a 100-gram metal measuring weight, an Apple cellular phone and $160 in cash.

Mills was charged with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver; four counts of possession of small amounts of marijuana; and six counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police are continuing their investigation.
