Driver injured in Antrim Township interstate crash

An 86-year-old Florida man suffered major injuries Friday afternoon when his vehicle struck a tree off Interstate 81 in Antrim Township.

Pennsylvania State Police reported that Charles A. Nehbass, 86, of Hudson, Fla., was driving a 2000 F250 Ford truck pulling a trailer south on the highway when it went off the west side and hit a tree.

Police said Nehbass was taken to York Hospital for treatment of major injuries.

The accident happened just after 2 p.m. near where I-81 crosses Zarger Road.

Police said the driver was not using safety equipment.
