Greencastle area teen charged with providing adderall

A Greencastle area teen faces a drug charge in connection with giving pills used for treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder to a girl at James Buchanan High School.

Pennsylvania State Police reported that the 17-year-old boy is accused of delivering three adderall capsules to a girl at the high school, 4773 Fort Loudon Road, between 7 and 8 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15. Adderall is used as a treatment for ADHD.

The boy was charged with delivery of a controlled substance on Monday, Oct. 24.
