Greencastle woman charged with assaulting state troopers

Leah Lillian Ellison, 30, 35 W. Franklin St., was sent to Franklin County Jail after she assaulted two Pennsylvania State Police officers. Ellison was stopped for erratic driving at 12:47 a.m. June 17. She was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to Chambersburg Hospital. She became combative in the lobby, and kicked over a sign, spit on Tpr. Kevin Goss and Tpr. Alex Grote, kicked one and head-butted the other. Ellison was charged with DUI, two counts of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
