Greencastle police file drug charges

David Neil Georg, 19, 11330 Williamsport Pike, was charged with use/possession of drug paraphernalia and corruption of minors. A woman reported to Greencastle police that she found a glass water pipe and a box with a green, leafy residue in her daughter’s bedroom. Georg, a friend of the girl, was arrested at 9:19 a.m. March 8 at 12 N. Carl Ave. and told police the items were his.

Following a traffic stop on Williamsport Pike at Preston Lane, Salvatore Vito Scavone, 21, Chambersburg was arrested at 9:21 p.m. March 17. He was charged by Pennsylvania State Police with use/possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, giving false identification, a seventh offense for driving while license was suspended, and general lighting.

Scott Matthew West, 37, Metuchen, N.J., was arrested for possession of controlled substances by a person not registered by Pennsylvania State Police. He was pulled over on a traffic stop at mile marker 4. Officers found $3,000 in cash, 19 Adderal pills, and three Ibuprofen 800 pills.
