Greencastle police and Rony, the canine, stopped to offer assistance to Pennsylvania State Police who had pulled over a vehicle at mile marker 6 on Feb. 11 for erratic driving. PSP reported that one of four passengers and the driver were nervous. Rony indicated a “hit” during an exterior search, and the driver gave permission for an interior search. The police found a scale, which passenger Matthew Bier Sharpler, 20, West Chester, said was his, and that he used it to weigh marijuana. He was charged with use/possession of drug paraphernalia.
