Check bad for thousands in silver

Matthew S. Hurley Auction Co., 2800 Buchanan Trail E., was the victim of a bad check/theft on Sept. 23. A man from Shamokin Dam paid for several silver items with a check for $3,692.58 from an account with insufficient funds.
