October accident recently reported

A Greencastle girl was treated at Waynesboro Hospital for minor injuries after the vehicle she was driving struck a car traveling in front of her at 3010 Buchanan Trail E. at 12:12 p.m. Oct. 18. She was westbound in a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier and did not notice that a 2007 Toyota Sienna had stopped to turn into the Waynecastle Storage Units. That driver, Chad Burrows, Red Lion, was not injured.

The Cavalier struck the rear right side of the Sienna, then sheared one telephone pole, went airborne and struck another. The Greencastle fire department and EMS assisted. One lane of traffic was closed for approximately 15 minutes.
