Matthew Ordean Beeler faces drug, other charges after traffic stop
Matthew Ordean Beeler, 26, 14112 Timothy Drive, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of a controlled substance, driving while license is suspended or revoked, and traffic violations on Oct. 21. He was pulled over by Pennsylvania State Police at 1:20 a.m. at South Washington Street and Oak Lane for a broken tail light.
According to police, Beeler turned over a gallon-size plastic bag containing four individually wrapped bags of marijuana and a cellophane bag of small seeds. He also had on his person a prescription bottle of Oxycodone tablets. He told the officer he had snorted half a pill and eaten one and a half pills.
At Chambersburg Hospital Beeler’s blood alcohol concentration was 0.0 percent, but the presence of oxycodone was found in his system.
