Pennsylvania State Police charged Stephen Gary Nelson, 19, Chambersburg, with receiving stolen property. Patricia Lidie, 15290 Bowman Court, reported four 14-carat gold and silver rings were stolen from her jewelry box on Oct. 5. She named Nelson as a possible suspect.

Police contacted Nelson on Oct. 23. He allegedly admitted he accepted them from Lidie’s daughter and pawned them in Hagerstown, Md. The daughter denied giving them to him. The rings were valued at $833.
