A guinea pig and a lizard were rescued by firefighters, who remained on the scene for several hours dousing hot spots in the two-story home.
Neighbors said a family of five, including three school-aged children, lived in the home. Fire officials have not been available this evening to provide further information, including a possible cause.
Fire company resources in Franklin County were stretched today as a brush fire was going on in the Chambersburg area this afternoon when the calls came in on the Antrim blaze.
