Dog thwarts home invasion in Antrim Township

A suspect fled when a dog interrupted a burglary at 2:30 p.m. March 30 in an Antrim Township home.

Pennsylvania State Police said a black man, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 215 pounds, slammed open the door of a home on Talhelm Road. The 21-year-old female victim had unlocked the door and the man then slammed it open.

According to police, the man grabbed her multiple times, but ran when the dog appeared.

Police reported the suspect was described as wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans, black ski mask and dark brown leather boots.
